One of the longest-running shows in the Anticon avant-garde hip-hop set, recording since the mid- to late '90s, Themselves cobble oddly compelling compositions with a lo-fi sheen. MC Doseone, also of Clouddead, spins warped, oblong rhymes that often get lost in producer Jel’s backgrounds, which can range from standard funk to calliope.
