About Unspoken
Unspoken is a Christian rock band who blend worship music with complex vocals and contemporary pop, soul, and Latin elements.
∙ Singer Chad Mattson and guitarist Mike Gomez formed the group after they met during a missionary trip to the Dominican Republic.
∙ Their first single, “Who You Are,” became a radio hit and was the Top Christian Song of the Year on iTunes in 2012.
∙ Featuring the Christian Adult Contemporary chart-topper “Start a Fire,” their self-titled 2014 debut rose to No. 9 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart.
∙ “Call It Grace” was named a Top Christian Song of 2016 by ASCAP and was nominated for Song of the Year by the influential Christian radio network K-LOVE.
∙ “The Cure,” from their sophomore album, Follow Through, rose to No. 35 on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart in 2017.
∙ In 2018, “Just Give Me Jesus” was a mainstay on Christian radio for almost six months.
