One of these mornings, I'm gonna kiss this world goodbye

One of these mornings, I'm gonna leave it all behind

When I quit this heartache and shed this skin

I'll be more alive than I've ever been

When I spread these wings and fly

I'm gonna soar across the sky

Gonna spread these wings and fly

One of these mornings, I'll see the One my heart longs for

Standing beside Him, the faithful ones who've gone before

And then all my questions and all my grief

Will be swallowed up in victory

And I spread these wings and fly

I'm gonna soar across the sky

When I spread these wings

Every tear will be wiped away

When I look into Jesus' face

Until then, help me run this race

With every heartbeat of every day

One of these mornings, I'm going to stare right at the Son

One of these mornings, I'll breathe brand new air with brand new lungs

And there'll be no more sorrow, on golden streets

We'll lay every crown down at His feet

Then I'll spread these wings and fly

I'm gonna soar across the sky

When I spread these wings and fly

I'm gonna soar across the sky

When I spread these wings and fly

I'm gonna soar across the sky

When I spread these wings

No more heartache and no more pain

There'll be no more sorrow, no more pain

I'm gonna spread these wings and fly
