Do jaké míry má skladba čitelnou a chytlavou melodii, která se drží jasně definovaných hudebních vzorců. Skladba s vysokou melodičností obvykle obsahuje přehledné instrumentální nebo vokální linky, které je snadné si zapamatovat.
Akustičnost
Do jaké míry skladba stojí na akustických nástrojích (např. klavíru, kytaře, houslích, bicích, saxofonu) namísto elektronických nebo digitálně syntetizovaných zvuků
Valence
Hudební pozitivita nebo emocionální tón vyjádřený harmonickými a rytmickými prvky skladby. Vysoká valence odpovídá pocitům štěstí, vzrušení a euforie, zatímco nízká valence se spojuje se smutkem, hněvem nebo melancholií.
Tanečnost
Kombinace faktorů včetně stabilního tempa, rytmických vzorců a důrazu na rytmus, které určují, jak moc se skladba hodí k tanci. „Taneční“ skladba mívá konzistentní tempo, opakující se hudební strukturu a dominantní těžké doby.
Energie
