Breakfast on the Morning Tram Let's you and me go away to The Ice Hotel ãâ¬â¬ The Carribean's all booked out ãâ¬â¬ And that's just as well ãâ¬â¬ Once I'd have been much keener ãâ¬â¬ On Barbados or Antigua ãâ¬â¬ But just now I think the arctic will suit us well ãâ¬â¬ Let's you and me go away to The Ice Hotel ãâ¬â¬ They've built it all with ice that's pure and clear ãâ¬â¬ The sofas, the lobby ãâ¬â¬ Even the chandelier A thermostat guarantees A steady minus five degrees What other place could serve our needs so well ãâ¬â¬ Let's you and me go away to the Ice Hotel ãâ¬â¬ Romantic places ãâ¬â¬ Like Verona or Paris ãâ¬â¬ They'll always lead you astray ãâ¬â¬ You'd have to be a novice ãâ¬â¬ To ever trust Venice ãâ¬â¬ And those dreamy waterways ãâ¬â¬ And what the tropics can do ãâ¬â¬ I know only too well So, let's you and me go away to the Ice Hotel ãâ¬â¬ Heavy clothing at all times ãâ¬â¬ Is the expected norm ãâ¬â¬ Even candlelight at dinner Is considered too dangerously warm ãâ¬â¬ And when the time comes for us to sleep ãâ¬â¬ We'll spread out our reindeer fleece ãâ¬â¬ And curl up together ãâ¬â¬ On an ice block carved for two But then in the morning ãâ¬â¬ Provided we've made it through ââ¬Â¦ We'll step out together ãâ¬â¬ To watch the sun rise over ãâ¬â¬ That vast expanse of cold ãâ¬â¬ And who knows if we're lucky ãâ¬â¬ We may find ourselves talking ãâ¬â¬ Of what future may hold ãâ¬â¬ This is no whim of the moment I want you to realize ãâ¬â¬ Let's go away to that palace made of ice ãâ¬â¬ Let's you and me go away to the ice hotel ãâ¬â¬ The Bahamas are all booked out ãâ¬â¬ And that's just as well ãâ¬â¬ I don't think we're quite ready ãâ¬â¬ For Hawaii of Tahiti ãâ¬â¬ And we will be ãâ¬â¬ Only time will tell ãâ¬â¬ Let's you and me go away to The Ice Hotel
