What I Think About When It's Snowing

The ground is covered in snow

And I can't leave I've got nowhere to go

I guess it's a good thing I'm used to feeling traped

So I just sit and think of what I'm lacking

I think I like

Everyone a little more than they like me

And even at night

I'm thinking they probably want me to leave

I used to assume every compliment was a lie

I got so exhausted, decided to stop trying so goddamn hard

I tried so hard

And sometimes I realize

I don't think anyone really knows me

So I wish they would stop acting like they do

Cuz maybe I'm destined to be alone

And never really have a home

Cuz I can sit here on my bed

And write these lyrics till my eyes turn red

I'm so tired of this world

So I'll keep watching the same old movies

The same old shows

Looking at the snow

And I'll keep reading the same old books

Cuz I have nowhere else to go

Nothing else to do

To take my mind off the same old shit
