World of Color Prelude

(New era) I couldn't stay in one place (Insecure) Not even if I tried I'm running from the truth But I'm also hiding in plain sight For a world of color (Triumphant) I've seen too much grey I want much more And I've seen a lot for my age Maybe that makes me greedy (Allies) Or maybe it makes me a dreamer Is it so wrong to aspire? Who decides if I'm a sinner or a leader? But see no one understands (Breathtaking) No one understands the meaning of life If I am not content Am I really living it right? But happiness (Mesmerized) I guess it's not a sustainable goal Because death exists It stays in my head discomforting my soul And it's exhausting (17 going on 18) When it's the one thing I don't wanna think about But I can't suppress it Avoiding will only bring me down I'm learning to accept (Infinite) My reality is based on my mindset I could be wrong Maybe I'm dissecting something I shouldn't dissect I'm too busy thinking about the moment (Star) Rather than living in the moment If overthinking was a competition I'd be an unbeatable opponent Existence is a river (Liar) One that you never asked to be on But you can't stop the flow So you have to keep swimming along I guess until you're gone I believe that life is not a game (World of no pleasing) But rather a lucid dream It's not about what happens to you But what you decide it will be (World of color)
