The ladies on parade

They curtsy and cascade along the avenue

The gentlemen prefer

Extravagant allure along the avenue

The carnival's still playing

The clouds are on the rise

The captain's ship is swaying

Under the stormy skies

I heard a bird, a rumor

Better now than never, this late bloomer
