Another night went by as

Yesterday's storm rages onwards

I stopped to check and see if it was

Me who was still breathing

A pocket filled with dread that's

About the size of the universe and

A handmade compass that

Doesn't even have a point

We laughed it off but only to cover

The cries that leaks out of our bags

Checking inside were nothing but

Sighs from the past

But who says it's wrong to be a little lost?

Fire an arrow and pierce the skies

Watch, as we take our first steps with confidence

A destination yet to be set

The star in the sky that acts as my guide

A sense of courage rises from deep within

Slowly but surely we'll make our way there

The other side of despair

Grab onto my hand and let's go!

Onwards to the future that's unknown

Our dirty shoes have found new life
