Hello, and welcome to this guided sleep meditation.
 
 Take a moment to settle in and find a comfortable position in your bed. Perhaps this is on your back. Or on your side. As you re-adjust, make a mental note of how this physical position is guiding your mental state.
 
 Let’s begin with several deep breaths.
 
 Inhale through the nose
 And exhale through the mouth
 
 Inhale
 Exhale
 
 Now one last time, inhale
 Exhale
 
 You are allowed to be right here in this moment. You have no responsibilities, tasks, or obligations at this time, except to be present with yourself. Continue to breathe deeply.
 
 Take note of negative feelings such as stress, anxiety, or even agitation. On your next exhale, imagine those emotions leaving your body alongside your breath.
 
 It’s completely normal for the mind to wander. Don’t feel upset or disheartened, simply re-focus on the breath.
 
 Allow a sense of tranquility to wash over you. Picture your inhalations and exhalations as the calming ebb and flow of an ocean wave.
 
 If your mind is still wandering, it can be helpful to count your breaths in your head. Inhale and count 1, exhale and count 2. Repeat this until you reach 10 and then start again at 1.
 
 Continue to feel your breath inflating and deflating your chest. The world around you is slowing down to an almost complete halt. Let yourself drift.
