Timeline:

March 27, 2051: Dr Althea Krieger invents, “the tool,” a machine that can upload the human consciousness into a virtual world. This device, similar to an MRI, first stops the human heart, reads and converts the human soul into digital code, and then re starts the heart before handing over that persons specific human coding on a 1 terabyte hard drive.

December 7, 2057: The final day of normal existence before the launch of, “the ascension program,” by Krieger Industries. The time frame that dates back from the start of man to this aforementioned day is often looked back upon as, “the greatest of all,” by those who have lived, died, and transcended to their natural afterlife.

December 8, 2057: The first human citizen pays for and undergoes the, “ascension procedure”. A former popular musician star of the late twentieth century, Lance Bass enters the Krieger medical offices located in Millsboro Delaware and starts the digital ascension procedure. Once plugged in, the software program specifically designed to interact with Mr. Bass’s code of consciousness is launched. As he first meets and is acquainted with this software's teacher...“Jane...” Mr. Bass is simultaneously having his heart stopped and body frozen in the real world. The worlds first, “human soul transfer” has been completed.
