Working like a rat

With a monkey on my back

Wasting time I'll never have

To earn the money that I lack

An empty home awaits

Frozen meals and soylent steaks

But when I finally roll the tapes

I'm back in time in golden days

So I should let go

Before I fall and it's too late

But I know it's taken hold

Rewind and play

There between the neon lights

I found paradise
