Up on the hill, I will let you go

Down in the fields, where the young men grow old

Will you remember my face ?

All through the maze, I have held the thread 

Leading us to the end of the desert  

Your thirst is now stronger than ever 

Leaves on the grass, papers on the floor 

Memories remain as the young men grow old 

Go on, cause your life won’t wait 

Children you were, playing on the floor  

Weaker than small puppies in my arms, oh!

Now, we admire your strength 

Time after time, smiling after all  

Freedom is more precious than my sorrow
