Peering up at the way ahead, as the path leads ever onward

One step then another, we must go

And through this journey, always remember

It is ourselves that we must know

False information takes hold of our attention

The snarling beast conceals its face

Exposed and unmasked through self-reflection

Facing the light, it recoils in disgrace

On the field of battle

Deceptive agents await our arrival

Redirection achieved through infiltration

Herded in like cattle

'Cause they can see that "as above, so below"

Inside our pens we wait for our own slaughter

But I can hear a swelling sound in the distance

In the air tonight, it guides my way

I leave illusion behind

Searching my soul to find

Fired upon from every side, steadfast we're pressing forward

Arrows of deceit no longer strike

The battle rages on, heads down we tread the pathway

Misled by friend and foe alike

Sinister machines advance, driven by faceless creatures

Mercenaries paid to obfuscate

Illusory talking heads, conceal a dark agenda

Lifting the veil, there's naught but fear and hate

Armageddon upon us

Karmic flood pouring down on us all

The choice is made and the violent storm, it rages

Inventio veritatis

Bases of power now fracture and fall

Beast brought to heel through the wisdom of the ages

I can feel the fire blazing within me

And the flame inside, it lights my way
