A young philosopher I shall be

My dictums not based in any reality

We'll steal from the rich and we'll give to the me

And when I become rich? Well, that's a different story...

I'll make everyone billionaires all of the time

And you know it will work 'cause it ends in a rhyme!

The laws that I draw will stop all crime

And I'll be loved for all of time

There was once a young philosopher who wrote a theory of life

But when he tried it out millions of people died

He had a mental breakdown that drove him to suicide

Upon reading his books the academics cried

"Genius! Wow! He figured it out!"

No, they didn't have a clue what they were talking about

But it, it felt good coming out of their mouths

It gave 'em intellectual clout (With everybody saying)

"Genius! Wow! Let's do it right now!"

We'll get a different result without a doubt!"

But when the famine hit, the babies quit, the buildings burned down

Should we give it another round? (Now everybody's saying)

"The real version has never been tried

So let's try it again but boys, this time you stay alive!"

Then later that day, everyone died

"In hindsight, idolizing a sad guy was a tad unwise"

(Genius! Wow! You figured it all out!)
