Lately I

Like many of you have been struggling

For, solutions to life’s many problems

But I

Believe it’s our right to care for my neighbor,

And to love them like I love myself

Get onboard my people

We need the power

Lift up all people

Who’s gonna care for us

It’s the time to right all these wrongs

We need you to intervene and

Deliver us from injustice

Place your people where we belong

We need to share our gifts, skills, talents and resources

With those who picking up

A helping hand, we don’t need permission to

To sing about it

And talk about it

And be about it

Give power to the people
