The kindest heart I've known belongs to some random guy
I met when shoes were dirt and girls had to hide
His name was Johnny the Jerk and he died many times
Once, the sky collapsed, and he left his ninth life
He slipped without a goodbye, I'm not sure why
Buried many years, Johnny finally came back to life
His hands gripped my throat, and he squeezed really tight
His whisper so hoarse, he said"I'll teach ya to fight"
So I killed ten men in a row that night
I choked them out of their words, I didn't let them say goodbye
Thanks to Johnny the Jerk and his massive sacrifice
Thanks to Johnny the Jerk, I think I will survive
Thanks to Johnny the Jerk, I will see my ninth life
