Between Now And Then

Down in the valley where I used to be

Through the meadows I’m humming like the bees

I saw hopeless things that made me think of my future and

I don’t dream a lot no more and

So teach me teacher, tell me how all the gardens grow

Teach me teacher, tell me why the insects kiss the flowers and

Does it help them grow

With all the flowers dying
