Our war is over

In the desolation I´m crawling around searching

I find the needs to understand one another

Lying in a corner, forsaken and forgotten

Almost shattered beyond any recognition

I have to twist and turn them over and over and over again

Still it's hard to make anything of them

They're just pieces of trash slowly decaying

I can't get it out of my head

In the rubble I find fragments

Of your wonderful laugh,

Caring touch and warm smile

And buried beneath everything I find our sould

Brusied and battered, still clingning to each other

I can't ger her out of my head

Our war is over

I will never have to fight another like it
