The girl never existed

I had to stop

Getting writers block

So I made her up

Can you forgive me

Im sorry to disappoint

Emotionally exploit

Im just playing the game

So you would remember my name

I know its kinda pathetic

I hope you still think Im poetic?

Please forgive me

For lying through my teeth

Im trying to make you feel

Something that is real

But Im ironically fake

My legacy is at stake

I need to leave this behind

So I am never forgotten

I must connect

To gain all of you respect

To stop me from feeling worthless

And give me some kind of purpose
