What's happened to me

I am suffocating

Burdened with the fact that

Nothing will be the same

I don't know what has happened

Or even where to go

When everything is different

And so unfamiliar

Sleeping in to distract myself from the inevitable

The world is growing so fast and everything is changing

Everyone from years ago moved on to better things

While I'm stuck in the past, not willing to let go

I'm missing all the times

That I have thrown away

Caught in my indulgences

Selfish to those who cared

Who knew it would be my fault

That I'd treat life like it's trash

Threw away the precious treasures

Of the memories I have made
