Texty

We thought the storm had passed…
But the porcelain had other plans.
Sunlight broke on a shattered seat
Plumber cried when he saw that heat
Tiles cracked like ancient runes
Smelled like war and old cartoons
Dad just sighed, poured more brew
Said, “Son… it had to come through.”
(Bless the bowl that served so true)
(Forgive the sins of taco stew)
Let the grout be strong, let the wax ring seal
Let this house forget how that wrath did feel
It’s the aftermath — tears and tape
A cracked white throne where legends escaped
Cowbell tolls for what we’ve lost
The flush hit hard… now we pay the cost
Pipes still wheeze, the floor still creaks
The scent still haunts us when nobody speaks
This ain’t a home — it’s a monument, scarred
By a man who thundered just a little too hard
Insurance came, but they backed out
Said the claim said “Act of God,” no doubt
Plumber’s eyes still twitch from fear
He said “I seen things… I ain’t meant to hear”
Amazon cart full of bleach and candles
Mom lights sage, wears gloves to handle
That room’s sealed now, caution tape
We buried the plunger. There’s no escape.
(Kyrie Eleison… Flush be gone…)
(The sins of fiber… carried on…)
Let no man drop… what he dropped that day
Let the gasket hold. Let the pipes not pray.
It’s the aftermath — solemn and true
We rebuilt walls… but lost virtue
Even now, with Febreze and faith
The memory lingers in the grout like wraiths
Cowbell cracked, accordion bent
That's what dad’s thunder truly meant
Some men write legacy in ink…
He wrote his in porcelain.
