My life’s become a ritual of dodges luck and schemes

It’s like something comes of nothing

And so often so it seems

But I know if I fall

I must answer for it all

Backed by walls that echo my own lies

Choked by ropes of alibis

So I make a promise to myself

Don’t lose a moment of the day

All the times I stopped and tell myself I live a charmed life

Nothing phases me, I’m still alive and intuition makes me wise

So scam a quick solution, build a life on second chances

There’s an exit in all crises, a savior in all circumstances

Well I don’t like to rationalize, conditions are consistent

I deceive responsibility, and back myself against the wall

Losing time I find I’ve got this sense of motion, forward motion
