Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember watching The Beatles in their first 3 appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show when I was a child and it changed my life. It inspired me to want to become a musician and to write and perform my own songs.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Greg Johnson, Sleepy Sunday My Sleepy Sunday Album embodies the laid back, jazz infused style of songwriting that I most fully embrace.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Like the Night” I wrote this song to my lovely wife while vacationing in Hawaii when I became fully cognizant that she is much more of a "day" person, but I really like the night. Its jazzy vibe is very much the style of songwriting that I fully embrace.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? On 9-09-2021, my record label (Starburst Records) & I hosted a CD Release Party for my Album Sleepy Sunday at Watermelon Music's Performance Center in Davis, California where I performed the entire album live to a very enthusiastic audience.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So far I've had over 3.5 million streams on all music streaming platforms combined. While this is very gratifying for sure, I'd like to see that risen significantly further. I love making connections with new fans around the world.
