Aerosol is the solo alias of Rasmus Rasmussen, a Danish electronic musician and guitar player whose music blends IDM and ambient music with atmospheric post-rock. Rasmussen was a member of Limp, a post-rock group who morphed into stoner rock behemoth Causa Sui. As Aerosol, Rasmussen debuted in 2001 with a self-titled 12", followed by a digital EP. His first full-length album, All That Is Solid Melts Into Air, was released as a limited CD-R. The album's downtempo, clicky beats and sparse yet warm atmospheres attracted n5MD, home to similar artists, and the label signed Rasmussen, releasing Airborne in 2009. In 2015, the label released the Krautrock/kosmische-inspired Leave. ~ Paul Simpson
