Angèle (born Angèle Joséphine Aimée Van Laeken) is a Belgian dance-pop singer, who also runs the label Angèle VL Records.
∙ “La Loi de Murphy,” Angèle’s 2017 debut single, was an immediate hit, going Platinum in both Belgium and France.
∙ Her first album, Brol, was the No. 1 album of 2019 on both France’s SNEP and Belgium’s ULTRATOP year-end charts.
∙ At the 2018 D6bels Music Awards, Belgium’s version of The Grammys, she received a record-breaking 10 nominations and scored 3 wins.
∙ In 2020, she won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Belgium Act.
∙ “Fever,” her 2020 collaboration with Dua Lipa, was an international hit, reaching the top 40 in a dozen countries.
