After establishing a garage rock sound enamored with the fuzz and theatrics of 1960s pop artists as part of the band J.C. Satan, French singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Arthur Larregle refined that sound into something gentler and more introspective with his solo recordings as Arthur Satan. His 2021 solo debut So Far So Good looked to the Kinks, the Pretty Things, the Zombies, and other '60s acts as inspiration for its psychedelic songcraft and Baroque pop.
