Cairo-born, Montreal-based artist Ash makes expansive, melodic dance music inspired by Egyptian and French traditions. He first appeared in 2016 with "Mosaïque," a relaxed, midtempo single that became a major streaming hit. He's continued releasing both instrumental and vocal tracks, including a 2018 cover of Moloko's "Sing It Back," one of several collaborations with singer Naila. His EP About Life appeared in 2022, and his full-length debut, Self-Discovery, arrived in 2024.
