In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a kid my dad had a knockoff Gibson SG that he would strum and sing blues songs to me with. He couldn't play but I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Also my mom always played music on saturdays from this grey boombox - I miss it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DANGERDOOM, The Mouse and the Mask Nirvana, In Utero 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Radiohead, Kid A Each one of these burrowed into my DNA the moment I heard them. There are other releases I love by these 3, but I think these are the ones that directly inspire what I do. There's a darkness and beauty in them that resonates with me. Hard Question!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I once played a 3 hour show at this upscale bowling alley and the room was filled to capacity - about 400 people or so. Our band was tight, the crowd danced for the whole thing and at the end the floor was just covered in sweat. Gross but great.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've always wanted to write/perform a rock opera or concept album. Some of the earliest music I got into was Flaming Lips, The Who and Pink Floyd - so it'd be cool to put together something like that.
