ASTROPICAL are an accidental supergroup whose members come from Colombia and Venezuela. The lineup consists of Bomba Estereo vocalist Li Saumet and keyboardist José Castillo, and Rawayana vocalist Beto Montenegro and drummer/multi-instrumentalist Andrés "Fofo" Story. The group's music melds breezy, dreamy, infectious South American pop, subtle electronics, and polyrhythms from Africa and Brazil that, when combined, deliver an accessible, infectious, and totally unique sound. Their debut single, "Me Pasa (Piscis)," arrived in January 2025, and was followed by two more singles in February. Their eponymously titled debut album was released in March. Its 12 songs were titled after the signs of the zodiac.
