Dayo Bello is a Nigerian-British R&B singer, songwriter, and producer with a resonant, soulful vocal delivery. After attending the BRIT School in his native London, he released the jazz-seasoned love song "Mine" (2017) while still in his teens. The ballad was featured the following year on the 360 EP. Contemplative singles such as "Wait for You" and "What About Me?" preceded a second independent EP, Outside (2023), which Bello followed with A Penny for Your Thoughts (2024), an eight-song effort highlighted by the typically hushed yet expressive single "J'adore," assisted by saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins.
