In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 4th grade, we had talent show auditions during music class and I decided I wanted to perform Lupe Fiasco's "Kick, Push". After I rapped "Kick, Push", my dad's CD played to the next song and I kept rapping, because nobody told me to sit down.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kanye West, Late Registration N.E.R.D, In Search Of... Open Mike Eagle, Brick Body Kids Still Daydream Late Registration was one of the go to albums for road trips with my dad as kid, and I probably still know it by heart. I always find myself running BBKSD when I run out of music to listen to. In Search Of blew my mind as a kid and still does now.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to perform on stage with my homies, Slang Troubadour and NDILOMA, when Slang opened up for DJ Abilities at the Miramar Theater was crazy.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I wanna sell out a concert with my crew at Higher Education Records. A whole show where we're performing all the solo bangers, group tracks, posse cuts, and remixes and the crowd is singing along and having the time of their lives.
