In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories came from my grandfather rapping over the xylophone and from moments of freestyling and lip-syncing, where I first discovered my rhythm and love for music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Asake, Mr. Money With The Vibe Black Sherif, IRON BOY Seyi Vibez, Thy Kingdom Come Asake, Seyi Vibez, and Black Sherif inspire me with culture, emotion, and authenticity—showing how Afro-Fusion can stay rooted yet connect globally, just like my music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Feeling” It inspires me to believe my dreams are valid and reminds me never to give up.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments has been shaping a sound inspired by my grandfather’s xylophone rap and my freestyling into Afro-Fusion that bridges culture and the global stage.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes—one of my biggest goals is to take the Afrobeats and Afro-Fusion sound I’ve built, rooted in my culture and inspired by my journey, to global stages where I can connect different cultures through music that makes people dance, reflect, and feel.
