In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories is my father playing guitar for my sister and me before bed, and by the fire during our summer trips in nature. Those moments made me fall in love with music, he’s still my greatest musical mentor.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brian Eno, Fred again.., Secret Life Maribou State, Kingdoms In Colour Nils Frahm, Tripping with Nils Frahm Well, I could listen to these album till the end of time.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Home Sweet Home” I remember creating this song while my girlfriend was away, alone at home and waiting for her return. The emotions of that moment shaped the music, making it even more special to see it resonate with so many of you.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was when my Café del Mar mixtape was aired several times on BBC Radio 1. I’ve had many projects I’m proud of, but that moment made me really happy.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’ve rarely performed live, so going on tour is definitely on my bucket list. I’m not saying it will happen soon, but one day I’d love to share my music in person with people around the world.
