Alben von Johnny Duncan
Künstler-Biographie
Born into a music-loving family, Johnny Duncan fashioned himself solely a guitarist; it was not until his late-teens that he appreciated his singing voice. After moving to Nashville in 1964, Duncan worked as a bricklayer while trying to break into the music business. Eventually, he was signed to Columbia Records and scored his first U.S. country chart entry with "Hard Luck Joe" in 1967. Duncan's first true giant country hit came in 1973 with "Sweet Country Woman." After a three-year hiatus, Duncan teamed up with Janie Frickie to notch hits with "Come A Little Bit Closer" and "Stranger." His last chart entry was in 1986 with "Texas Moon."
