The pop singer Laura Wilde was born on January 4, 1989 in Heppenheim, Germany. At the age of just 11 she took classical singing lessons while also taking additional private piano lessons. Her first single, "Ich Sehe Was, Was Du Nicht Siehst" appeared in October 2010. Wilde's debut album, 2011's Fang Deine Träume Ein, received the Young Investigator Award and the Star of the Year Newcomer Award. The album also produced the singles "Wo Hast Du Denn Küssen Gelernt" and "Ungarisches Blut." In the spring of 2013, her second album, Umarm die Welt mit Mir was released and featured the singles "Warte Bis Es Dunkel Wird," "Umarm die Welt mit Mir," and "Mein Herz Versteht Spanisch." Like its predecessor, the album reached the Top 50 in Austria and the Top 60 in the German album charts. ~ Rich Wilson
