In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing "Colors of the Wind" at my first talent show. I was terrified, had zero training, & felt like an imposter because the other kids seemed like professionals. But my whole family was sitting front row smiling and cheering me on, so I was hooked!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hugh Jackman, Pasek & Paul, Zac Efron, Zendaya, The Greatest Showman (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Jim Jacobs, John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Warren Casey, Grease (The Original Soundtrack from the Motion Picture) Martina McBride, Martina McBride - Greatest Hits Martina's effortless powerful vocals are iconic. Grease is my favorite movie of all time. The Greatest Showman is just an incredible score & story with all around powerful music!!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Me Wrong” This song makes me feel powerful in all my femininity. I love opening my live shows with this strong anthem & making the music video out on the ocean shores of my home state of Washington is one of my fondest memories!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Singing the national anthem at the Pendleton Rodeo. It actually was my first rodeo experience and the electricity was unlike anything I've experienced. Pendleton feels like a second home to me-it's where we filmed the music video for "If I Was A Man"
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? More than anything, I want my music to reach more ears and hearts of the people that need it most. My prayer is that my music spreads joy & helps heal to the maximum extent possible.
