In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. After I saw Fishbone live at the John Anson Ford Theater, I knew I had to be in a band.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Danny Elfman, Oingo Boingo, Nothing to Fear Los Lobos, How Will the Wolf Survive? The Specials, The Specials (Deluxe Version) The combination of these three albums is what helped shape me into the band we would become. The combination of eclectic sounds and musical excellence is too much fun to ignore.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Move It Girl” This song is very special because it is the first song I ever wrote. I was living in a small apartment, just hanging out by the pool and the words just came out. A blend of Latin ska and jazz.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Too many to remember; however getting the message that we were getting signed to our first label MOON SKA will always stand out. We were young, hungry, and ready to work. The album we released helped establish us around the world.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play in Asia, Europe or South America where our fanbase has been strong since day one.
