Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child, I listened to my sister and my older brother play on the family Pleyel piano. My brother Franck has become a great jazz pianist.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alexis Weissenberg, Alexis weissenberg, piano : bach ● haydn ● schumann Lang Lang, The Magic of Lang Lang Víkingur Ólafsson, Vikingur Olafsson: Chopin / Bach These are albums by pianists to whom I feel close, either through the musical conception or through the choice of repertoire.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Etude No. 2” Like a minimalist lullaby, the piano is used hypnotically to lead the listener into a dreamlike state of relaxation/tension/relaxation. I adore !
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sharing the stage with great musicians, Olivier Charlier, Jacques Mauger. Those were great musical moments. ♫
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have heaps of album projects in anticipation, as much on great classical composers, the Schumann couple for example as on the most recent Ludovico Einaudi, Edison Denisov etc. I hope I have time to make some...
