In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting on a grassy hill with my mother and my grandmother and looking at the clouds with them. We pointed out all the shapes in the clouds and were listening to classical music and we noted that the music accompanied the shapes we saw!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? De La Soul, 3 Feet High and Rising The Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream Tiësto, DRIVE Each album was influential in their own powerful ways. If I could only listen to these three albums for eternity that would be a new kind of hell though because there are so many more albums I love just as much as these.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Now That Time Has Passed” I wrote this about my marriage ending. This is a rare track because I get pretty transparent about how I was feeling and actually wrote it as a way to express my thoughts about it all and it helped me process it in a new, positive way.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I got to perform in a show that had more than 10,000 people in attendance! That was a rush! Also, going on the Extreme Tour with Lojique and TOMfest with Comunalien was a WONDERFUL thing in my world! I'm glad I was able to participate!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still want to record the score for (and act in) a movie with a full orchestra and a choir! That and get into making music for video games!
