Toronto rapper Nothsidebenji has found international success and earned a cosign from UK rap superstar Nines.
• Benji started his musical journey in 2016, when he began releasing freestyles and garnering tens of thousands of fans.
• One of Benji’s most popular early releases was 2017’s “Left Hollywood,” his version of Meek Mill’s “Left Hollywood,” off the Philly rapper’s Wins & Losses album.
• In 2018, Benji freestyled on BBC Radio 1’s Fire in the Booth. By gliding over the beats from 21 Savage’s “Bank Account” and Fugees’ “Ready or Not,” the rapper earned himself an overseas fan base.
• Benji’s 2019 debut project, Caviar Dreams, features his gold-certified breakout single “Levels,” a duet with Toronto rapper and close friend Houdini.
• In September 2019, Benji released the EP Frienemy. The luxury-themed music video for the title track garnered more than 1 million views.
