A Los Angeles-based trio featuring English musician/DJ Samantha Ronson -- sister of prolific DJ/producer Mark Ronson -- singer/songwriter/vocalist and producer Ethan Thompson, and producer/drummer Pete Nappi, Ocean Park Standoff employ a feel-good blend of anthemic alt-pop and sunshiny, hook-filled electro-rock. Founded in 2015, the trio issued a pair of debut singles, "Good News" and "Photos & Liquor," the following year, in anticipation of their eponymous Hollywood Records-issued debut EP, which arrived in March 2017. The band kicked off 2018 with "Lost Boys," a vibrant electronic collaboration with Norwegian EDM production team SeeB. They followed it with the Lil Yachty collaboration "If You Were Mine" and "Good Time." ~ James Christopher Monger
