In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing my Dad and his Gospel group on the local radio station. The station would play Gospel music for a few hours on Sunday morning before introducing a local group who'd perform live. I was introduced to the music of Sam Cooke on this station.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Michael Jackson, Off the Wall Shirley Horn, Here's To Life "Off The Wall” was the first album I ever bought. Shirley Horn’s record “Here’s To Life” is exquisite. I remember being in complete awe as I listened to it. “What’s Going On” continues to be as poignant today as it was when it was first released.

Jeff Lockhart & Joe Cunningham)” My very good buddy Baron Browne, a terrific musician whom we lost two years ago, actually came up with the title of the song. It encompasses many of the ways I see myself as a singer and musician.
