Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. For 2 decades I was certain that my first concert was Pink Floyd, but it was just a cover band playing in the park by our library, and turns out it didn’t change the magic for me.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Mornings” Mornings, from my album American Boredom- I personally love this song, and while recording the violin I sat at the feet of Dorota Szuta like a baby penguin and played with all the effects on it live.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was slapped by Elton John backstage at the Grammy’s, and I think about it every time I wash my face, cursing cleanliness.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I was really looking forward to recording with Steve Albini, but since his recent passing (RIP) I really want to write a successful jock jam.
