Über Stephanie Economou
A Grammy-winning composer of film, television, and video game music, Stephanie Economou is known for her command of a wide array of genres, including classical, folk, rock, electronic, and experimental music, which she often combines in her scores. She emerged from UCLA's Herb Alpert School of Music in the mid-2010s and assisted composer Harry Gregson-Williams on numerous projects for her early credits, including additional music for The Martian (2015) and Mulan (2020). Her first solo feature score was the thriller Secrets That We Keep, also from 2021. Economou went on to compose scores for films including 2023's About My Father, starring Robert De Niro. That year, she took home a Grammy for her video game score for Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, which blended folk and electronic music.
