Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I will never forget hearing Musiq Soulchild for the first time. I didn’t know that was his full artist name. When I wrote down who was my favorite artist at school, they corrected my answer & put “Music” with a C. Aijuswanaseing was stuck in my head.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lenny Kravitz, Lenny Maroon 5, Songs About Jane Ne-Yo, Year of the Gentleman I love “Lenny” for Kravitz's type of rock music. It was my introduction to the sound.“YOTG” inspired me to try different ranges & generally not feel like a creep making R&B. “SAJ” was an overall painting a picture for me. It’s ingrained in my psyche.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rich Men North of Richmond” He gets real deep on what’s going on in the country. It reminds me to at least stay on top of the issues & understand what a lot of people are going through.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Most memorable moment for me thus far would be the reception of my projects in 2016. The growth. The expansion. The way it seeped into the crevices of the internet.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To get to Europe, & hopefully Australia to perform for the first time. At this point I have so many older songs to perform for them along with all of the new songs that I have to add to the mix.
