In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was performing Native American flute at an outdoor festival and the sky was dark and threatening rain. Halfway through the first song, the audience motioned for me to turn around, and there, miraculously were clear skies and a beautiful rainbow.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Douglas Blue Feather, The Best of Douglas Blue Feather Liquid Mind, Liquid Mind VIII: Sleep Robert Mirabal, Music from a Painted Cave I saw Robert Mirabal live doing the music from this album. It inspired me to take up the Native American flute and put me on the musical path I am still on today. "Sleep" inspired me to blend ambient/new age sounds with Native American Flute.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Ethereal” This song, with its blending of lush ambient orchestration, haunting Native American flute melody, and subtle flute harmonies, takes me to a transcendent place where my soul can relax and be soothed and renewed.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was asked by the NPS interpretive ranger at Chaco Canyon National Historical Park, to play Native American-style flute for a moonlight tour of the Pueblo Bonito. As I played in one of the Anasazi ruins there, the crowd found it's way to me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It has always been my dream to perform Native American-style flute with a symphony orchestra, preferably, one of my compositions.
