As half of The Moldy Peaches, Adam Green cowrote anti-folk ditties about burgers, bus rides, and vulgarity. As a solo artist, the wry singer/songwriter keeps that absurdity, rhyming “bubblegum” with “pigeon scum,” and he tries on genres like they're costumes: quirky baroque pop, potty-mouthed twee, lounge-lizard disco-funk, urban-cowboy schmaltz, proto-punk revival, fat-Elvis karaoke, bizarro DIY-movie soundtrack. That last one is a psych-pop companion to Green's movie about a genie's magic lamp that's actually a 3D printer. It might be the most normal thing he's done yet.
