Songtexte

We'll get what we deserve further down the line. The gifts of Pandora are far less than divine. We're poised to irradiate for millennia to come, with our blame focused solely on Eve we've forgotten our friend atom. We took the Titan's gifts with no forethought for ourselves. We synthesized and weaponized then unleashed a living hell. Now some want them destroyed, still others want them found, and the god still sits with his silent grin, not believing we cut him down. Its a foolish dream to control the power of the sun in the palm of your hand. The potential for complete destruction, too arrogant to comprehend, we've harnessed the atom at the cost of man. Prometheus delivered but Atlas we became, our savior, our destroyer, or perhaps one in the same? Will the path of progress send us to an early grave? Masters of the universe? It's just an elaborate charade. We've a debt to be paid. We are destined to be no more than temporary. We are a collection of particles and chaos theory
