Songtexte

Chimney leans where the blackbirds rest,
Smoke rolls slow through a hollowed chest.
Railroad groans along the valley's spine,
Spitting out sparks on a weathered pine.
Catfight, Catfight, Catfight!
From my prison heights.
Hillside listens with both eyes shut,
Holdin' its breath where the tree lines cut.
Fence post hums a splintered tune,
Counting stars by the pull of the moon.
Shadows creep, No one sleeps
Lilies torn, Veins still warm
Catfight, Slap fight!
Bint might, Feral fright!
Pickax strike through bones o' the ridge,
Echoes chatter where cold winds binge.
Coal dust clings where cracks run thin,
Washin' way but it sinks back in.
Catfight,
From my prison heights
Crows keep watch, across ice crack,
Lookin' for ghosts ain't coming back.
Footsteps fade where frost runs deep,
Sung to dust by roots in sleep.
Moonlight fades, dark invades
Lilies torn, Blood reborn.
Catfight, Slap fight,
Bint might, Feral sight!
South gonna rise, that's what they swore,
But the cold north don't keep no score.
Minnie soda hums with a rebel's pride,
Singing old songs that the dust won't hide.
Iron bars and an unchained bitter tune,
Unchained from a fight that ended too soon.
Give a Rebel Yell!
Sheeeeeeet!
Catfight, slap fight
Bint might, Feral sight!
Catfight, slap fight
From my prison heights.
